The Anti-Ragging Committee & Anti-Ragging Squad have been constituted for the academic year 2017-18 as per UGC Draft Regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher educational institutions, 2009.

The Squad will have vigil, oversight and patrolling functions, it shall be kept mobile, alert and active at all times and is empowered to inspect places of potential ragging and make surprise raid on hostels and other hot spots. It will investigate incidents of ragging and make recommendations to the anti-ragging committee and will work under the overall guidance of the said committee.
